Silencing The Wind

Inspired by Boreas, the god of the north wind in Greek mythology. He is often depicted as a powerful, cold and forceful wind. Boreas is associated with winter, bringing frost and icy air and is typically seen as fierce and unpredictable, yet majestic but eventually carrying a sense of cleansing and renewal, as winter eventually leads to spring. Silencing the wind the girl gives a gentle sign that it’s time for a change…

 

The sculpture is made of resin. The whole sculpture is hand-cast.
