Childhood Memories
Fields dotted with bright red poppies and soft white dandelion seed heads are a familiar sight in the countryside where i grew up. In summer they stretch across meadows and roadsides, creating a landscape i will always associate with childhood. it is a peaceful and familiar picture that will stay with me forever.
This painting will be presented as part of an exhibition at the Wallarobba Arts and Cultural Centre (25 Edgeworth David Ave, Hornsby NSW 2077), from 24 August to 6 September 2026.
