HAS Christmas Exhibition
Wallarobba Arts and Cultural Centre is a beautifully restored heritage building, within Willow Park. Built in 1903, it has been transformed into Hornsby Shire’s premier arts and cultural centre. The redevelopment was recognised by the Local Government and Shires Association with a Places for Arts and Culture: Improved Cultural Facility Award.
Hornsby Art Society hold about seven exhibitions during the year, One is for Young Artists, two are for solo member exhibitions and four are for members to submit up to 4 works.
The Christmas Exhibition and Sale of Works provide the opportunity for people to purchase works of art for Christmas presents.

Ferry Artists Exhibition
The Ferry Artists Gallery is a community run art gallery in the beautiful & historic Wisemans Ferry. The Gallery is a venue where local artists exhibit and sell their creations in a wide range of media including painting, ceramics, jewellery, printmaking, sculpture, textiles, metal art, photography, and glassware.
Supported by the local authorities the gallery organises thematic exhibitions every quarter.

Hawkesbury Now
Hawkesbury Now is an annual exhibition program which showcases the diversity of artists of Hawkesbury and North-West Sydney.
The exhibition features traditional and contemporary artists, designers, and crafters, from emerging to established, living, and working in Hawkesbury and beyond.
Opening night for the exhibition will be on Friday, 25th October, from 6pm to 8pm, and the exhibition will continue until 01 December 2024.
Light refreshments will be provided at the opening night. Bookings are essential.
All artworks in the exhibition are for sale.

Remagine Art Prize 2024
Remagine Art Prize has a focus on waste, sustainability and the environment. This year’s theme is ‘Crossroads of Consumption’, referring to the juncture where our consumption has met the finite natural resources limit of our planet.
Held in partnership with Hornsby Art Society since 2009, Remagine Art Prize is dedicated to bringing awareness of environmental challenges such as waste, consumption and sustainability.
Total prizemoney $11,000. Open to digital stills, sculpture, mixed media, painting, photography, printmaking, ceramics and drawing.
Judges this year are Susan O’Doherty, Ulric Steiner and Sheona White.
Dates: from 10 May until 26 May 2024

Sydney Royal Easter Show 2024
The Sydney Royal Easter Show is Australia’s largest annual ticketed event, attracting over 828,000 attendees on average. The Show is a celebration of Australian culture. Many competitions are organized during this event, among which art & craft takes a significant place.
The history of the Sydney Royal Arts & Crafts competition dates back to early colony times when there was a strong desire by the Agricultural Society to ‘improve taste and develop the artistic faculty’ of the colony.
Recognised today as the biggest Arts & Crafts competition in Australia, attracting over 4,900 entries in almost 300 classes, the competition is honouring the creative men and women of the past 150 years with feature displays of craft through the decades.

Ku-ring-gai Art Society Autumn Exhibition – St Ives Shopping Village
Ku-ring-gai Art Society (KAS) has a long-standing relationship with The Gallery St Ives, having exhibited at the Village for over 45 years since 1976. With three exhibitions each year, their shows are highly anticipated by the local community.

INTERNATIONAL WOSP GRAND FINALE EVENT
WOSP – The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation is a public benefit organisation registered under Polish law, which in over 30 years collected nearly 2 billion Polish Zloty (in AUD devided by 3 ) and donated 71500 pieces of medical equipment for hospitals and medical clinics.
The objective is to support public health in Poland throughout equipment and medical programs. The Foundation’s work is focused on supporting children’s medicine and enhancing the level of care offered to senior patients in geriatric and long-term care units but also on humanitarian activities like humanitarian crisis at the Polish-Belarusian border, pandemic (fight against the COVID-19), war (support for Ukraine), or social initiatives (e.g. making a stand against child abuse – “Teddy Bear’s Tale” .. Over 1700 Collection Centres organise the work of hundreds of thousands of volunteers. The charitable Orchestra “plays” worldwide –wherever there is an active and thriving Polish community abroad: Australia, New Zealand, Japan, across Europe, in the Americas and onboard Polish ships, and even at the North Pole research station.
The financial means to purchase the equipment and finance the running of medical and educational programmes are raised during a one-day public fundraiser. The fundraiser, known as The Grand Finale is traditionally held on a Sunday in January. This year on 28 January 2024.

CASS Sales Exhibition
This event is a Fund Raiser for Combined Art Societies of Sydney. Artists take part by donating one to six paintings for the sale. Paintings are of any medium or subject – framed or unframed, or on a stretched canvas complete with hanging cord, or works on paper with or without a matt board.
SALE PRICE: between $100.00 and $300.00.
