Lady Octopus

I remember watching the documentary My Octopus Teacher a few years ago and being captivated by the bond between human and animal. But while the film highlights the influential power of nature, I focused on the octopus’s intelligence and curiosity. I named her “Lady Octopus” and first captured her in a painting.

The sculpture brings the painting to life, adding a symbolic, three-dimensional element. “Lady Octopus” embodies woman’s virtues—calmness, warmth, and dedication—and personifies her intelligence. The aim of looking inside her head is to experience her soul, to feel her golden character radiating from within.

The main part of the sculpture is made of bronze , the octopus part of resin.
